Merry Christmas!
What a busy time this is...whew! I so thought I was going to have time to relax. I planned on starting to work on another quilt; I'd even cut out all the squares. Surely, I would have time to do that. What was I thinking? Isn't it odd how a time that is supposed to be so peaceful turns chaotic? Last minute gifts to buy, which isn't easy cause for me it's the toughest recipients to figure out, things to cook, bake, and make for parties and get-togethers, then all the regular day-to-day stuff too, which takes all the longer because traffic is such a nightmare (seriously, is traffic heavier this year or is it just me?) I'm looking really forward to the gatherings, and yes, I'm human..the gifts. I'm also looking forward to remembering what Christmas is really all about, the greatest gift none of us deserved, the birth of our Savior. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!!
We started decorating a couple of days after Thanksgiving, so I thought I'd share a few of those images.
