I don't really know if this is a big aloe plant or not.  It looks like an aloe plant.  Never-the-less, this is a plant that is one of the graveyards in Savannah, and I remember it was huge.  You can see a bit in this photo, but people had carved into the plant...sort of like someone would do to a tree trunk, and while it was kind of neat that a plant could sustain someone carving into it, and actually form a scar so it's there indefinitely, I felt a little sad that this gigantic plant was desecrated.  I attempted as best I could to get a shot without the marks, which was hard to do.
