I met Laura at her brother's wedding, which I photographed in April.  I was thrilled to get an email from her asking if I could be her wedding photographer.  We met this past June...exactly a year before her big day.  We had no idea when the engagement session would happen since her finance was in Iraq at the time, and then when he was back would be stationed in Texas.  So when he got to visit this month I was excited to meet him, and do this session.  Since Laura and Brandon are from Greenwood we decided to venture down to my old stomping grounds of Calhoun Falls to do this session....actually it was done in the pasture beside the house my old studio was in.  These guys are fun together!  I must tell you of the animal adventures we encountered that day...The whole time we heard cows mooing quite loudly the in adjacent pasture.  As we were taking pictures at the car we saw a rabbit jumping away quite fiercely, then we were very still as a skunk wandered by....yikes!  As I was leaving four cows were wandering along Highway 72 (the same ones that were seen all over Calhoun Falls the next morning).  Whew!
