Brrr.  Can you believe it...snow again, and this time it's around for a while.  I remember the last time this area had snow like this...I was in third grade.  We were out of school a week...it was legendary.  Now here I sat over twenty years later wishing this stuff would melt.  I've grown accustomed to snow that lasts a day and even then you can still leave the house...cabin fever, anyone?  We tried to venture out this morning.  Ada had a four month check-up, but halfway there an accident blocked the road, so we just turned around and rescheduled for next week.  Jeff went to his parents' house later, and the roads were improved then.  

I did have hopes of sewing.  Particularly since my sewing room (which also doubles as the workout room) just got organized and pretty.  However, this is busy season for Jeff and he's going like wild with work, and having a four month old to watch over didn't allow for sewing.  I did get a couple of work things done.  One being this blog.  I still have some work to do on it.  I'll be adding a facebook page link and twitter soon.  I started the facebook page almost a year ago, but never published it...so fingers crossed, that'll be up soon.

Anyway, back to the snow.  It is really beautiful, even if it has kept us cooped up.  I would have loved to venture out and find some gorgeous spot to shoot in, but it was pretty slick to walk in.  Honestly, I was worried I'd fall and my camera would catch the brunt of it.  I did feel confident enough to make it to the back yard.   

I love how the ice incapsulated everything.

I kept seeing the asparagus from the office window.  I think the ones with berries are female, and not very good for production of asparagus, but it sure is pretty.
