Project 52: week 4 - Soothing Repetition
I had SO planned to blog the middle of this week, but this week passed way to quickly. I decided last week unless I'm absolutely inspired by something when I hear the theme each week, to think about it as long as I can, hoping for that ah-ha moment when something just clicks. In all honesty, I heard this week's theme and went, oh gosh...blah. I looked at the entries in the flickr group the other day...lots of nature (tree lined paths, flowing rivers, etc.), lots of indulgence items (chocolates in a line, cupcakes, sodas, etc.), LOTS of musical instruments (I've never seen so many pictures of piano keys!). The thing about this theme is so much of it's personal. Soda has no appeal to me; waves are beautiful, but I see the ocean, and my hair instantly starts to frizz, which stresses me out. The thought for this picture came relatively quickly, but I kept holding back hoping something really awesome would hit me, but really what I took the picture of is awesome...and such a soother (for Ada as well as mommy and daddy)! It's something she loves to have when she's going to sleep, so repetition there....and the sound she makes when she really gets in going...I love it!
